Welcome, I am Ceredwyn Ealanta, a freelance illustrator. I specialise in scientific and wildlife illustrations for writers and scientists who care about accuracy and originality, and sometimes I branch out into fantasy work for a bit of fun.
About me
I work in the Dandenong mountains of Melbourne, Australia. My process involves sketches made from life (Life doesn't always seem to agree!) and then I do more detailed work on a tablet, while researching my subject to ensure details are correct. I have experience as both a book and website illustrator.In my other life, I am a UX researcher for pharmacists. My role involves interviewing and collecting information that enable businesses decisions. I have worked with Indigenous Weather Knowledge holders.When not researching or drawing, I dabble in glasswork, and make lanterns for the Belgrave Lantern parade.
